The Large Hadron Collider previously used different application-specific electronics for its multiple experiments. The Apollo Common ATCA project is developing one "Common" ATCA blade for these experiments. I tested prototypes, developed a peripheral PCB for it and wrote code.
Maintained an MRI Stimulator for a neurological experiment testing the connection between human touch and the visual cortex. The device featured 5 piezoelectric transducers, 1 for each finger. Stimulation from each piezo was compared with visual cortex activity. Project information here.
